Description of the work
- Previous vessels were 18,000-20,000 DWT bulk carriers;
- Remove all hatch covers and hatch coaming flush with deck and insert
new deck sections in openings with same strength and camber as existing
deck;
- Cargo hold installed with slant plates and underneath fitted with compressed
- air aeration system to vibrate the plate;
- Four vertical screw conveyors installed in the vertical trunks
- Two horizontal screw conveyors installed on deck
- One discharge boom installed on the main deck
- Drydocking and steel repairs

- Installation of seven sets of 30-ton Tsuji Crane including grabs and

- Installation of one longitudinal belt conveyor;
- Installation of cross belt conveyor;
- Installation of discharge boom;
- Installation of 2 sets of Daihatsu engine at 2,300 KW each.

2. Canada Steam Ship Line - Canada
a) M/V Eastern Power 225 * 32.2 - Year 2004
Description of the work
- Existing reclaimer and crane rail removal with weight around 1200 tons
- Longitudinal, thwart ship and boom conveyor modification
- Deck generator fabrication and newly install three generators
- Crane pedestal, foundation and hopper fabrication weighing around 500
tons
- Newly install owner supplied four deck cranes
- 40 km cabling for the generator, conveyor and crane system
- All the top side tanks blasting and painting with total area around
20,000 m2
- Drydocking and steel repairs

Description of the work
- Newly fabrication of the forebody with steel work around 11,000 tons
- Install the tunnel conveyors, c-loop conveyor & discharge boom system
on the forebody
- Install all the relative system including ballast, venting, mooring
and etc on the forebody
- Install the cargo hold lining
- Cut the existing tanker in way of engine room bulkhead in the floating
dock
- Joining the new forebody with the existing aft end
- Install one new bow thruster
- Existing engine room boilers, turbines and etc removal
- Newly install one new composite boiler and three new generator

fire damage in the cargo holds, accommodation and engine room.
- Renewal of 8 layers of accommodation completely.
- Renewal of the steel between 4# cargo hold and 7# cargo hold;
- Overhauling and renewal of total 129 sets of equipment at different
sizes;
- Lay out of nearly 200 kilo meters cables;
- Replacement of communication and navigation systems, auto control systems
as well as monitoring and alarm systems;
