On March 15^th, Chengxi Shipyard has delivered a 70,000DWT woodchip carrier to Bocom Financial Leasing in Chengxi Shipyard(Yangzhou), which has hit a new record of 107 days earlier than the scheduled date according to the contract.

The new ship named “SDM HUBEI” with 215M in overall length, 37M in breadth, 25M in depth, 14.1knots in service speed, and registered in ABS.  She embraced an edge-cutting and greed design featuring lower fuel-consumption, higher speed in conformance with requirement of EEDI III，and larger cargo capacity for woodchip etc., all of which create more value for owners.
